My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darling is my name and I do truly live up to it. I am a beautiful one-year Shepherd-X. I was an unclaimed stray at the pound and my family never came looking for me. Although that was a huge disappointment I know that there is a good family who will be more than happy to share their life with me. Now I want to discover what it feels like to permanently belong with dog people who truly care about me. Going for long walks is my favourite thing to do besides getting lots of love from humans. I am a medium size girl; I weigh 40 lbs. So even I do pull a little on walks, I am easy to handle. For an adolescent dog, I am quite mellow, so I won’t be super excitable like a lot of other pups. That doesn’t mean I don’t need exercise; I will need daily walks and playtime if you would like me to remain mellow. I really should go to obedience training classes to learn the ABC’s of good doggy behaviour. I know that I would make you proud and we will really enjoy spending time together if I am well trained. I really love all the other dogs and I would enjoy a canine companion. You would be passing up the opportunity of finding true love if you pass on the chance to get to know and adopt me.
