I am already spayed, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.
Shari is a very sweet and energetic puppy that we are estimating to be around 8 months to a year old. She had some issues with potty training in her foster home when she was left alone for extended periods of time. As with most puppies, she needs to be taken out every few hours to prevent accidents. Shari may have some separation anxiety, so it is important that adopters have the time and patience to work with her. She has not had any accidents in the house when taken out every 3 -4 hrs, but sometimes she pees when her foster parents come home because she gets so excited to see them. She will be adopted out with a positive training course requirement. Shari is great with all dogs and playful! She growls a bit when she is in your lap and another dog comes up for attention, but shows no aggressive tendencies at all. She does not like to be roughly handled, so no small children. Shari has ignored the resident cat but she does chase squirrels and other small game in the yard. While a lot of Shibas are great apartment dogs, Shari does not like to go potty on a leash. Because of this, along with her high energy level, we would like to find her a home with a backyard and someone with a flexible work schedule so that she will not be alone more than 4 hrs at a time. She would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to play with and an active family to keep her stimulated and entertained.
