Corey's Story...
"Hi, there, folks! My name is COREY, and I'm a sweet and playful Pit Bull puppy fella who's looking for a new forever home. I enjoy going for walks, and I'm learning how to walk nicely on the leash. I'm getting better at it every day. I like to play in the shelter's play yard, but I guess my favorite thing is to be loved and snuggled. A good scratch behind the ears is my main goal in life. I will be a fun dog for a family with older kids, and I'd want to be the only pet in my new home. I'd need a yard in my new home, and I'd want to spend time with you or the family. I'd love to have a cozy dog bed in the house so I could be close to you. Won't you please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter? We can get better acquainted in the shelter's nice play yard. Please head over to the shelter soon so you can see what a lovable sweetheart I am. Love, Corey" Kennel #16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Corey, a El Cajon Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
