Peggy - Courtesy Posting

Pretty Peggy is a 4 1/2 month old Yellow Lab pup who is currently being fostered with another dog. She doing well with her canine companion and has not been exposed to cats. Like pups her age, Peggy’s house-training is on-going but she learns quickly. She has a lot of energy and is very playful. This sweet and adorable girl weighs around 35 pounds but has lots of growing to do. She is heartworm negative and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Due to her age, Peggy has not yet been spayed so this should be taken care of per the recommendations of a vet. Peggy is a courtesy posting and is not an SGRR dog. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peggy, a Cheshire Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cheshire, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Cheshire.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cheshire already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cheshire breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cheshire paves the way for another one to be saved.
