Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hula is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Hula is not affiliated with Take Me Home. She is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties.
For more information on Hula please contact Susana at 310-883-5019 or Alana at 818-632-2203 or email us at moani4ever@yahoo.com or jawznut@gmail.com.
Hula is a 40lb British Staffordshire Terrier, who was rescued off of the streets of LA. She had been beaten up by another dog, was flea and tick riddled, emaciated, dehydrated, very sick and scared. If her rescuer had not stopped to help her, she may not have made it much longer.
Taken to one of the best vets in LA, she has been spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She was also diagnosed with an infection because of her untreated dog bites, and a grade 2 heart murmur (an echocardiogram was performed and it was determined the heart murmur is not an issue). She is fully healed and is now boarding, waiting for her forever home.
Hula has been temperament tested by a board certified Veterinary Behaviorist with these findings: Hula does very well with other dogs, and she LOVES people and attention. She’s great on a leash and enjoys her walks immensely. She does jump a lot (which I call HUGGING) and like most terriers, she loves to play. She is very bright and food motivated and willing to learn. This gorgeous girl was someone’s dog once – She deserves a loving home again.
We are looking for either a foster home willing to help us network her (dog food will be paid for), or her forever home.
