Lily's Story...
Lily is an affectionate, friendly dog who is happiest when hanging out with humans. She is shy at first, but once she feels safe she wants to sit near you as much as possible. She happily entertains herself with her chew toys, but hasn't quite figured out how to fetch yet. On walks, she wants to say hello to everyone she sees. She is submissive, and usually lays down and lets other dogs sniff her first. Lily is doing well learning simple commands like sit, stay, and down and is not a barker. She is also working on crate training. She sleeps in the crate and stays in it when home alone. She is housebroken, and has never had an accident in the house. Since being rescued, she has been nothing but a sweet pup looking for a place to call home. Lily will make a great pet for anyone who is looking for some serious unconditional love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a San Antonio Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
