Blue (Adoption Pending)'s Story...
Blue is 2 – 3 year old male Pitbull who was originally found living is squalor in East Harlem in May of 2013. He spent his time prior to being rescued living in a tiny coat closet with a baby gate in front of it. Blue lives quite a different life these days. He has flourished in his foster home, and is currently acting as his foster dads right hand man in teaching new fosters how to behave and live the good life. Blue is a great listener and is very eager to please. His foster dad calls him his “helper dog”. Blue just loves to lay in the sun, spend his time with his people and is very loving. He is crate trained, neutered, up to date on all vaccines and is house trained. Blue gets along great with other dogs, but it is unknown how he does with cats. He loves to be outside, roll in the grass and have fun. Blue can occasionally be a bit vocal, but does well when corrected. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue (Adoption Pending), a Wethersfield Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wethersfield, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wethersfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wethersfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wethersfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wethersfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
