Maxine's Story...
Meet Maxine! The sweetest little lab mix ever! Maxine was pulled from the Mahoning County Pound, where she had been picked up as a stray and covered in ticks! Maxine has been abused by a man and takes a while to built up her trust, but once she does..the puppy comes out! She is a sweetheart, looking for her forever home. We are working on her housebreaking.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxine, a Youngstown Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Youngstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Youngstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
