Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My Name is Georgie formerly Gol. One day I found myself at the animal shelter. I am grateful the people from CPR sprung me- you see they tell me I am heartworm positive (darn mosquitos!) but am undergoing treatment as will be good as new soon. My eyesight seems to be spot on, as I see other animals outside immediately and don’t walk into anything even at night. My foster Dad asks me if I am hard of hearing because sometimes I don’t act like I hear him, but whenever there is a sound outside like a truck going by, I raise my ears and listen. Who knows I may just have selective hearing.
I am a medium size fawn boy with an almost white coat that is so soft to the touch. I have the puggie double curl tail and walk with a distinct dog trot. I am so quiet in my crate you won’t even know I am around. I love to sit near you and will curl up by your feet and rest until you are ready to go for a walk. I like to play with stuffed toys and like my chew bones. I haven’t had any accidents in my foster Dad’s house since I have been here and let him know when I need to go out. I get excited and verbal when I see the leash too.
I am gentle and easy going even though there are two cats that live with my foster dad. I have shown a casual interest in them once or twice, but they hiss at me and I leave them alone. I certainly am not aggressive toward them. There are some other doggies around here that we occasionally pass when walking and even though they go nuts barking and tugging on their leash, I just look at them and make a noise once or twice and then we go on our way. No pulling at the leash trying to get to them.
I will make someone a great doggie I am sure because I have lots of love to give. I love to be petted and talked to. How about you? Please fill out an adoption application and ask for me, Georgie.
