Natasha's Story...
Natasha (or Tasha as we usually call her) is a 'special needs' kitty. She is about 5 1/2 years old, a semi-long hair Siamese/Persian cross with a half bobbed tail. She has beautiful feathering in her ears and on her feet. Due to injury or abuse, she has no vision in her left eye and only partial vision in her right eye, that lovely blue of a Siamese we all know. But with our love and care, she has grown in confidence and ability. She knows her name and responds when called. It takes her a bit of time to orient herself, but when she has she explores and interacts with the other cats. She needs a quiet home with a single person or adults and having another gentle cat companion would be ideal. It's often difficult for people to get beyond the look of a maimed
animal (or person), but if you are that special person come see Tasha. She will be a rewarding part of your life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Natasha, a Port Lavaca Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Port Lavaca, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Port Lavaca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Lavaca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Lavaca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Lavaca paves the way for another one to be saved.
