AR - Mopar's Story...
Please contact Pam for more information about this pet.

My name is MOPAR(formerly known as Clint, go figure) and I’m a lot of dog that loves to be loved.   Now MOPAR is the name for parts for a Chrysler, but I don’t know anything about cars. I’ll allow you to pet me for days before I ask you to quit.  I love dogs, big and little people, but will not give a cat the time of day (won’t lower my standards).  My foster mom says that I observe, even point and bark, but never bother the chickens she owns.  I may have been a bird dog in a past life, but nobody knows for sure.  I was surrendered, but I know that you will love me, and this will be my forever chance at a real family.

I can be well mannered, but probably need some work.  I don’t jump on people, but have been known to clear the kitchen counter of anything food wise that I can reach.  I’m also known to eat everything else in the other dog’s bowls.  She suggested feeding me alone. I will tug on the leash ready to go, but a few sharp tugs and I settle down.  Eating, next to water is my life.  I have a small wading pool that I use as my own personal spa.  I sit there, roll around, rush about the yard, and then come back to the pool.  I am most assuredly house trained and don’t leave any undesirable components around.

I had been known to dominate males before I was spayed, but that’s not been a problem since.  I do have some separation anxiety, but when I’m crated I do just fine.  I may bark to get out of the crate, but sleep like a puppy all night long.  Mom thinks an active family, with a couple kids that like to run and play would be the ticket for my action.
