Cameron is a male Lhasa Apso/Maltese mix only 1 year of age. He has gorgeous dusky gray and snowy white wavy fur that is very low to non-shedding. He is good sized, weighing in at 15 pounds. Cameron is a people dog and wants to be in the home with his family. He is quiet and good, trying always to please his owners. Cameron is excellent inside, well behaved and very affectionate. He is good with other dogs, although he doesn't play a whole lot. He mostly wants to be hanging out with his people. Cameron is great on leash and will walk beautifully around the neighborhood. He is good with children and likes lots of gentle attention. He will get the most adoring look in his eyes when you stroke his head. He also has long gray eyelashes that he will occasionally bat at you for added emphasis. He is adorable and very sweet natured. Cameron rides nicely in the car and prefers to be on someone's lap. He is definitely the kind of dog that you can take anywhere and who will enjoy being included in family outings. The more the merrier as long as he gets to go along! Cameron will easily curl up in a doggie bed inside and nap when you go somewhere, waiting patiently for your return. He is a sweet boy and a great choice for a nice, well rounded pet. Cameron came in stray to the shelter with a gash on his hip. He had stitches for two weeks, but is all healed now. Cameron has had a rough past to be sure, which will make him all that much more grateful for a warm, loving home. Cameron wants to find his forever home and new bright future today!

Cameron’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Cameron is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Chris & Annchalee and is ready for his forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Cameron at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CAMERON, a Newport Beach Lhasa Apso/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Maltese for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Maltese dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Maltese breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
