found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
This little boy was adopted to a couple who had spent 12 yrs trying to have children. They had given up and adopted Persians and Himalayans from me instead. Several years later, they were surprised to become parents and shortly after their first little boy, they were pregnant with their second. How quickly their lives changed. Suddenly, they were about to have two children under the age of 2. Along with their children came the recession and insufficient finances. The decision was made to return Sean Patrick to us.
He was a bit of a mess when he arrived and he was not a happy little boy. He was withdrawn and cranky. It turned out he had severe dental issues, giving him a very painful mouth. We had 4 abscessed teeth removed including one very bad upper canine. He has been recovering and as he does so, he has recovered some of his good spirits. He is such a little cutie.
We have bathed him and fussed with him and he has tolerated it all well, if not liked it. (He wouldn't mind if that was his LAST bath ever. ) He is regaining, I think, his trust of humans and his confidence. With all that was going on in his expanding family with their noisy baby, two dogs, a second cat , parenthood and pregnancy, schooling for the dad, no income from the mom, I think little Sean was sort of left out. He needs a family who will treasure him and treat him with great gentleness and love and patience. It will take him a while to evolve into the happy little guy he was and should be.
Already as his mouth recovers, he is feeling better and is more outgoing and his sweetness shows. It is fun to watch him grow happy.
I would like to see him in a home with adults only , probably no threatening dogs, maybe a very friendly gentle cat. A quiet, safe-feeling home. He is a tender treasure and needs to be cherished and understood and protected. He will give you his heart and companionship as flame Himi boys always do.
He eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
