Wingnut is a frisky six-month-old male Dutch bunny who was confiscated from a rabbit hoarder in downstate Illinois. Sadly, he suffers at a young age from an enlarged heart and requires inexpensive medication twice a day.
All the rabbits are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and vet-checked prior to being adopted. Their adoption fee of $100 each benefits the rescued pets of Red Door Animal Shelter. For more information on the Red Door rabbits, please e-mail info@RedDoorShelter.org or call 773.764.2242. The Red Door Adoption Center, 2410 W. Lunt in Chicago, is open Monday through Thursday, 1-5pm; Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12-4 p.m. and, evening hours by appointment.
