My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shay:

Sadly, animal atrocities happen all around us. We wish we could help all of the suffering animals, but we are grateful when we can make even one small dent in all the pain. On that note….meet Shay. This tiny, five pound, year old guy was essentially abandoned at a vet clinic. He was so skinny and emaciated, we weren’t sure he was going to make it. Fast forward to a couple of months and Shay is happy, loved and ready to be adopted!

This boy has it all: handsome, unique looks (he is a white, purebred Chihuahua) and a charming demeanor. His foster family can’t stop raving about him: “Shay is so friendly! Shay goes to the bathroom on command. Shay loves to be around people and loves to cuddle. Shay is funny. Shay walks up to any person or animal to say hello. He loves life and is so happy to be alive. We adore Shay!”

We love reports like these from our foster families and can’t wait to introduce Shay to your family soon. Shay truly gives us hope that there really are happy endings in some of the worst situations. He is such a fantastic dog with so much love to give. We are determined to find him the best forever home out there!
