Bertha's Story...
Hi there, my name is Bertha, a sweet young 7 year old tricolor beagle girl. My name means Sparkling, Bright, Splendid! I may be a little chubby but I am sparkling! I may be a bit slow in my gait but I am bright! And I may not be the first dog someone wants to adopt but I am splendid! I have so much love to give and I am certainly in need of yours! When I was found, my coat was filthy, my nails were curly and my feet hurt. The shelter put me on the euthanasia list but now I am in Arizona Beagle Rescue's care, I have had a lovely bath and spa day, and am on a great healthy diet! I am waiting for you to ask to meet me so please contact AZBR today! If you have fallen in love with me but can't adopt me, maybe you can donate to my care at http://tinyurl.com/AZBR-Baubles-for-Bertha! Thanks for reading about me and hope to meet you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bertha, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
