Polly's Story...
Hi – My name is Polly and I am an 18 month old, very sweet, Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. I was adopted from a shelter and then returned because I was left alone too much, and was starting to pick up bad puppy habits. What’s a girl to do when left to her own devices? I didn’t know certain things were bad things to do. No one had been spending time with me or teaching me. Luckily AGB came and got me and now they are going to help me find a good home where someone will teach me the things I need to know about being a good doggie citizen. I just want a family of my own, one that will spend lots of time with me (that is probably a good thing right now) and that wants to play with me. I am healthy as they come, and ready to be with my new family and shower them with all my love and kindness. Please consider making me a part of your family! To visit me go to www.adoptagoldenbirmingham.com or call 205-908-1566 or email ashawrn@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polly, a BIRMINGHAM Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
