Sox's Story...
Sox is about 3-4 months old. He was pulled from local animal control after having been picked up as a stray. He is sweet social and loves to play! He is still very much a puppy and loves to chew on anything he can get his mouth on but does great when given an appropriate chew toy to keep him occupied. He is crate trained and is doing very well with housebreaking and has started his basic obedience with 'sit'. He is a spunky pint sized boy with long legs that like to run and romp around. He's looking for a forever family he can grow up in that includes a wonderful lap he can siesta in. If you're interested in meeting Sox feel free to e-mail an application in!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sox, a Columbus Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
