Traveler's Story...
Traveler was rescued from Stockton animal Services in late January 2013. He was found running in a field, skinny and tattered. I nursed him back to health and he has gained twenty pounds already. Traveler is a dedicated, intelligent and extremely loyal boy. He would be a great companion to someone who is very experienced with large dogs. Traveler would be best in a household where he was the only dog. He is fine with little dogs and cats but is afraid of large dogs. Traveler is working on his Good Citizen Canine Certification and will be ready for adoption very soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Traveler, a Lodi German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Lodi, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Lodi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lodi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lodi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lodi paves the way for another one to be saved.
