A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED.
Buster is a friendly, loveable, playful 6 month old boy who was surrendered to KC Sheltie Rescue when his family could no longer take care of him. A beautiful, purebred Tri-Color Sheltie with white factoring, he is looking for an active home. He currently weighs about 23 lbs., and will probably end up at about 30 lbs. when full grown. Buster is crate trained, and quickly learning house training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Mission Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Mission, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy from a breeder in Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
