My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amore is a 1 1/2 year old blue female with natural ears. She's a really happy, sweet girl. She's friendly and gentle, and she loves everyone she meets. She takes treats as gently as any dog I've met. She does get excited very easily, and she hasn't yet learned to control herself, so she will be placed with older children only. Her former owners socialized her well, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes, as well as with cats. She loves to romp and play. Update 7/12/13 - We've received the report from the neurologist, who feels that Amore likely suffered an injury or virus at birth or shortly afterward. It has left her with an unusual (but very pretty) gait, and some puppy-like clumsiness, but no discomfort, and no prognosis for future issues from this. She will need a home that can accommodate that clumsiness, which is most apparent when she's excited, and where she can have plenty of exercise, but she needs no medication or special treatments.
