found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hi! My name is Alex. I am an amazing cat. I am so laid back and mellow that I decided to nap on the counter at the vet's office while waiting for my vaccines. What cat have you met who is that calm, cool and collected? I am approximately 4 years old. I am neutered and front declawed. I weigh 14 lbs. I love everyone and everything. I'm good with kids, other cats and dogs who don't chase me, although I will stand my ground and let the dogs know I'm not tolerating such treatment. Problem is I have no front claws, so I'm always hoping the dogs don't call my bluff. My story is a sad one, like so many homeless pets. My owner died and I was tossed outside. I survived the winter because kind neighbors put food out for me, but without claws, I was even more vulnerable than the average outdoor cat. I have been hopping in people's cars when they open the door or leave the window down, trying to get into houses when front and back doors open, sleeping on decks and porches - just hoping someone would help me. Well, someone finally did. I have been rescued. Now I have a constant source for food and a comfy bed to sleep in, no more snow, rain, thunder, lightening or intense heat to battle. All I need now is to find someone to love me for life. I use a litterbox like a good boy and my favorite thing in the world, besides human affection and companionship, is to lounge in the sun and watch the word out the window. I'm a super cool cat and someone is going to be very lucky to have me become part of their family. Adoption fee: $60.
9 Lives for $9: All cats at least 9 months old are just $9 to adopt, June 21-30, 2013.

Adoption and Foster Care Application: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dDFIYXdMYUdlVXEwT0l4cGpOM2lhSHc6MQ
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
