Tracy's Story...
Hi! I am so happy you've stopped by, wanna play? I do! My name is Tracy and I am a 1-2 year old pit-mix. I'm a tiny tan and white girl at only 24 pounds. I came here as a stray, and have some wounds/scars that need to heal, so I am glad I did! My human friends are taking good care of me here, but what I want the most is a forever home. I love to run around and play, and would love to be with an active person that will help me burn off some of my energy. I am a very happy pup and I get along with other dogs and humans so I think I am a pretty great catch! Don't you? Come to meet me in person at ACCT!

Act quickly to adopt Tracy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tracy, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
