My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a special cat that is looking for an equally special pet parent. He is extremely affectionate, will sit in your lap and give you lots of attention. When he came to us he was in rough shape and in tremendous pain with untreated ear infections that had left both his eardrums ruptured. We have cleared up the infection successfully with antibiotics and he appears comfortable now.

Consulting with our veterinarian further we discovered that he has ear polyps. He needs to be kept on a very affordable medication to keep the inflammation down which averages $5 a month for 1/2 pill crushed in some wet food each day. He's responded great to this at the shelter and is a much happier guy now.
