Tramp's Story...
Tramp was found on the side of the road on Sunday, May 26th with his brother Hobo. We think they are likely Plott Hound puppies. They are around six weeks old and surprisingly in good health considering their rough start in life. They've had their first set of shots and are due for the next set in a few weeks. To be so young, they're very well behaved and already seemed to be potty-trained after only a few days at my house. They love to play with toys and chase each other. It's so cute to see their little legs try to run fast through the yard! They've met all of my dogs and do just fine - although they were a little afraid of them at first because I have big dogs and they're just so tiny! They already sleep through the night and never have an accident in their crate. These little guys are super smart and will make someone a happy, happy puppy owner! If you're interested in adopting one of the pups, please email info@forrescue.net. We have tons more pictures and videos to share - they're just too cute not to snap photos every time they're awake!
Tramp is being fostered in Atlanta, GA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tramp, a Marietta Plott Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Plott Hound puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
