Hi People,
My name is Garvey and I’m an adorable little bichon pup about nine or ten months old. Mom says I am very friendly, inquisitive, playful, attentive and just plain loving. (And that’s a wonderful combination.) According to Mom, that makes me PUPALICIOUS! That’s Mom’s word for a puppy who is delicious. The first time she saw me she thought I reminded her of a miniature polar bear (why, Mom, I’m only 17 pounds!) and she had a feeling that I would be (and am!) precious to the core.
If I had a motto it would be: Life is short - Play hard and love more! I love to romp but love being with people even more. Dad says I thrive on being part of all that is going on around me. And with three human kids and their friends, there’s always lots going on!
While I love to play, I also love to cuddle, snuggle and give LOTS of doggy kisses. Mom says I am very gentle too. I don't jump up on the kids' beds, for example. Instead I rest my head near theirs for kisses and hugs. I also love to cuddle in their laps in the car. And when we go to pick up the kids from school, I get so excited! That’s because I get to say hello to all of their friends as well. Walking through crowds of children, my tail is always up and wagging, because I want to say hello to everyone.
Dad says I have a few favorite toys: a rope bone (which I love to retrieve and chew), my little pillow (which I love to shake with my mouth or sometimes suckle on it in a corner while also hugging it), and my ball (which I will chase and grab, chase and grab, etc.). He says I also dive into my toy box, grab the toy I feel like playing with and that I love when anyone will toss it for me to catch. And if there is no one around, well then I play by myself. You see, I am very smart.
I’m a really happy little guy, (Mom says with a capital H) who is also enthusiastic and mellow. As you can see from my pictures, I'm also very handsome! The most important thing for you to know is that I love company and KIDS! FurKids and Human Kids are the best! My perfect home will have people around most of the time – and another dog. Having a special person I can love and adore, and a doggy buddy, is what I want most in the world!
