Hi. My name is Stewie and I think I am a Basenji and a Daschund mix. My foster family has a American Staffordshire Terrier and a Daschund mix and we all get along so well. I love to play, fetch and most importantly I love to cuddle in bed.

I'm approximately a year old so I am still a puppy with a ton of energy. Don't get me wrong I love to go on walks but nothin better than a good old squeeze and snuggling up in bed at night. Oh, and I love the water. I enjoy hiking and since been introduced to dog parks. It's a little overwhelming but I am getting used to it.

My taste buds call for everything. Veggies, fruits and meat. I am currently on a raw diet.

My previous owner was good to me but had issues with the landlord regarding pets and she was always working so she felt horrible and wanted to find me a better home. Currently, I live in a house with a backyard and enjoy playing with the dogs,
and children. I'm looking forward to finding the perfect family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stewie, a Studio City Dachshund/Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Basenji for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Dachshund/Basenji dog from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Basenji breeders who help with Dachshund/Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
