Wayne's Story...
Wayne was rescue from the AZ Humane Society when he was 3 weeks old, he is now 9 months old. He is laid back sometimes, yet is playful too! He has been raised around a lot of bottle baby dogs, and has a very "fatherly" disposition. He loves to lay with them and give them "dog comfort". He is a loving, sensitive soul. He is housebroken, leash trained and has basic manners. He is good with all sizes of dogs, cats unknown. Wayne's adoption fee includes his neuter, 3 vaccinations, a rabies shot and a microchip. Saturday he will be at the Scottsdale Pavilions Petco (8901 E. Indian Bend, Scottsdale), and Sunday he will be at the Happy Valley Petco (2501 W. Happy Valley Rd, Phoenix).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wayne, a Phoenix Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
