Triple's Story...
Tony Triple Paws, or Triple for short, is a super adorable tripod kitty. He was taken to the city pound with a badly broken left front leg, likely caught in a fan belt. The leg had to be amputated, but that hasn't slowed Triple down any.

When Triple first came to Wayward Whiskers, he was a mess. His leg had just been taken off and he was having a hard time walking, and he had ringworm. Every time I went near him he would hiss and try to run away, but as soon as I picked him up he'd start purring.

Triple is with a foster now and is doing great! He is learning to trust people and loves the other cats. He even likes to hang out with the dogs! He will make such a great companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Triple, a San Antonio Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
