ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE WHO WILL RETURN YOUR LOVE 100%. This little sweetheart is just the girl....look at that sweet face. She's a gentle little lamb who needs a little special consideration. She is basically blind only seeing shadows BUT SHE GETS AROUND LIKE A CHAMP ONCE SHE KNOWS HER HOME... HER SWEETNESS OUTWEIGHS THE BLINDNESS
Megan is a 7 year old Jack Russell mix who weighs around 17 lbs. Her owners took her to a vet and made the very difficult decision to surrender her so the vet could help her. Megan has been diagnosed with Diabetes and requires 2 shots of insulin daily. Unfortunately since it was not addressed right away Megan is blind. She is doing remarkably well though with adjusting. She is currently being fostered in a family with cats, dogs and children. The children need to approach her by saying her name and letting her know someone is there wanting to touch her. She/any blind dog can be startled if you don't let them know you're near by and may give a warning nip in self defense. With this sudden blindness, Megan is now starting to adjust very well to her limitations but please remember to let her know you're there. ........She had separation anxiety when she first became blind, but is now a little champ that seems to be getting along well. She is very laid back and spends a lot of her time sleeping or wanting to be cuddled and loved. Taking her for walks will be a wonderful way to build a lasting friendship Megan would love to find a family who will love her and take care of her and give her her medicine so she will not have any more complication. She is currently being fostered in Kent. For information on meeting Megan you can contact her foster mom Rhonda at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 253-852-8460
