Lena's Story...
My name is Lena and I was rescued from a kill shelter with my two sisters Simone and Nikka by the good folks at Feral Cat Rescue. We were only 5 weeks old at that time and had no mother to care for us so it was a miracle that they found us. I am independent little girl and a great huntress and my favorite toy is a mouse :)) I like to be close to my foster mom and love the attention she gives me. I like to snuggle at night and give her kisses. We have been combo tested, de-wormed, spayed, vaccinated against rabies, micro chipped and got two out of the three distemper boosters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lena, a Great Mills Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Great Mills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Great Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
