Arrival Story: Hennessey was rescued from a shelter that still gasses dogs. We promised to find this love bug his forever home!

Personality: Hennessey is such a great dog! He's an easy-going and affectionate fella who loves to be with his humans. He has a blast romping and playing with other dogs. He has impeccable house manners, too! He lets you know when he has to go outside, and he chews on his dog toys. Good boy, Hennessey!

We haven't yet seen Hennessey around children or cats, so we will update this later.

Forever home: We're still learning about Hennessey, but so far he's a mild-mannered guy with a moderate energy level. We know he'd love a home where he'll get a ton of love, and a dog pal would be a bonus.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hennessey, a Northville Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Northville, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Northville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northville paves the way for another one to be saved.
