Lenny's Story...
Hi, my name is Lenny or Leonard G. Pyrenees if you want to keep things formal. I'm a happy, loving, one year old ball of fur looking for the perfect home. I am a social southern gent when it comes to people but would do best as an only dog or with a dog friendly female (no boys please). You see I have some issues with sharing but my foster mom has been working with me and I've come a long way but still need an owner savvy about resource guarding, positive reinforcement training, and my breed. I'm good in the house but am still a puppy so just remember that sometimes. I love to get out and stretch my legs so a fenced in yard is required at my new home. I excel at hugs, the goofy "I have a toy" dance, and looking magnificent. I currently weigh about 95lbs and still have some growing to do.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Brattleboro Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
