New Kittens's Info...
|Breed:||Domestic Mediumhair||Color:||Brown Tabby||Age:||Kitten|
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
The fist thing we noticed when we took in our Mama cat is that her left ear was clipped. This is done with feral and barn cats who have been spayed, vaccinated and released back into their colony. Since Mama came from a colony on a farm, we were confident we could let her get settled in her new environment before rushing her off to the vet for a spay. She was so totally terrified to be indoors, with her whole life turned upside down, we thought it was the right thing to do for her health and happiness. It didn't take long to realize this kitty came to us expecting kitties of her own. How she lost the top third of her left ear is still a mystery to us though! Mama whelped five perfect little beauties on April 22nd. She has been a fabulous mommy and the kittens are super happy and healthy. We have two torties (females), a light grey tabby (female), a brown tabby (female) and a beautiful little orange boy! In this photo, they are two weeks old and we will update the photos as they grow. We spay and neuter kittens at eight weeks, so these sweeties will be available in about six weeks. They've been well-socialized with lots of human contact from adults and visiting children. While they are currently in a safe place, away from other animals, they will be exposed to other kitties and cat-friendly dogs before adoption. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to pick out a new kitty in advance of adoption. That way, these kitties will not grow up in a shelter environment where the older they get, the more difficult it becomes to find them homes. Our kitty adoption fee is $100 and we give discounts for those adopted two at a time (a smart idea with kittens). At the time of adoption, these cuties will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed and on flea and tick preventative.
