My name is Rocco!

German Shepherd Dog Dog for adoption in Roswell, Georgia - Rocco

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rocco's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rocco's Story...
Rocco was turned in to a shelter in horrible shape. He had a serious respiratory infection and a skin infection. After about 3 weeks of treatment, he got better, but was HW positive and very thin. He was 60 lbs., but should be 75 or 80 lbs.

Rocco has gained some weight and is being treated. He's enjoying home life, after spending lengthy time kenneled in the vet's. He's already going up and down stairs, which he was afraid to do before. Rocco loves people and gets along with other dogs. He has not lived with cats. He will be up for adoption in late August.

Rocco has gotten along with all of the dogs he's met. He has not been exposed to cats. Because we are not sure of his history, and since he is a large boy, we don't recommend a home with children. He's very friendly to people.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocco, a Roswell German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Roswell, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
