Muddy Waters's Story...
Muddy Waters is wondering what’s going on around here -- where's this forever family his foster mom keeps talking about?? Muddy is a lot of personality wrapped into a small package! At only 25 pounds, Muddy is what we call a “pocket pittie.” With his unique coloring, we have no clue HOW this guy hasn’t been snatched up....he has been with Merit for almost 5months! Muddy has been working hard in his foster home learning how to be part of a working family, and has passed his crate skills test with flying colors!!! He loves to chew his antler on his doggie bed and plays tug o war with his other foster siblings - one of which is Merit adopt-a-bull Otis ! Muddy has mastered the skill of sitting and walks well with a harness during his pack walks with his foster family. Muddy is also friendly with all people and any animal he happens to meet! If you’re looking to add a spunky personality to your home, remember that big things come in small packages!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Muddy Waters, a Greensboro American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
