I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Andre's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Andre's Story...
A good Samaritan found ANDRE attempting to cross a busy street and tried to find his family, but no one came forward. Andre is guessed to be around 2 years of age and is not close to a giant, but absolutely gentle. With his handsome blue and white "suit," stunning amber eyes, and sweet, docile temperament, he will melt any heart. Andre is very laid back, loves to give and receive love, and enjoys hanging out with his foster siblings.

Andre gets along well with other dogs, but he needs to go to a home with no cats (he thinks they're around for his amusement!) In the yard he just wants to play, lounge in the sun, and chew on sticks. He also loves to go on walks (need a hiking buddy?) He is crate and house-trained; he's not had any potty accidents in the home. He wants to please you and is pretty quick to pick-up on cues of what you want him to do. Andre is not fostered by parents with human children, but he has been great with the little humans in the neighborhood! He's not a jumper, so there's not much risk of him knocking them down (aside from too eagerly leaning in for some rubs)!

As far as funny -- there is definitely plenty of photographic evidence for his penchant to splay his back legs out froggy style:)!

Andre has completed heartworm treatment and is currently on monthly prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andre, a Greensboro American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
