Finn is being fostered in Powhatan, VA. Finn is an AMAZING 1 year old Catahoula Leopard mix and weighs approx 40lbs. He was pulled just in the nick of time from a high kill shelter in south Alabama. Finn is very laid back and a happy go lucky guy. He is awesome with the cats and other dogs in his foster home -- AND he is even doing well with the horses & Donkey. Finn would be a GREAT addition to any family.

Please email us at bonniebluerescue@gmail.com if you are interested in fostering or adopting Finn!

Our adoption fee is $300. $75 of the adoption fee is refundable if proof of completion of obedience class is demonstrated within 3 months of adoption. Each of our pups goes to their forever family up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finn (photolink), a Richmond Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
