Charlie's Story...
My name is Charlie and I'm a great kitty. If you're looking for a really cool looking black and white tuxie, look no further than my picture as you will agree with me. I was turned into an Animal Control officer by a homeless man who really thought I was a feral kitty who needed to be put down. It was my lucky day when someone who works there decided I was really just a scared friendly. I have been neutered, updated on shots, combo tested negative for FIV and FELV. I would make a great pet for someone who would love to love me. I was born approximately in Dec. of 2011. If you would like to rescue me, I'm available. All you have to do is fill out an application for me. I'll be waiting in my foster home to hear from you!!
Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
