Quinton's Story...
Hi, I'm Quinton and I was brought into the shelter as a stray. I will be available for adoption on October 16th if my owner doesn't come to get me. I'm about 1-2 years old and 46lbs. I'm a very quiet, sweet and well mannered boy! I'm very friendly and loving too! I walk wonderfully on a leash and I seem to know how to sit! I may be housetrained as I keep my pen clean! I sure hope I can find a loving home of my very own. As part of a commitment to reducing pet overpopulation, I will be adopted out on a neuter contract which includes a deposit that will be refunded when you provide proof that I have been altered, which MUST be done within 30 days of my adoption! Oh, and If you'd like to see a few more pictures of me go here... Quinton Pictures and click on my album! If you are interested in me and you can provide a loving responsible forever home please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number! Hope to see you soon! Love, Quinn!

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ALTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION OR BY SIX MONTHS OF AGE!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinton, a Ladysmith Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
