Magellan's Story...
My Story: My mama, brothers and I were rescued from under a palmetto bush in a park, when I was two weeks old. Mama was wet from a rainstorm, but she still took good care of us. Since then we’ve all been loved, well cared for and get to play in our foster home. I am very sweet, even-tempered, and I love to play with my very own seashell. Little Tiger is my brother and he is also adoptable! We both have lovely tiger stripes and leopard spots, just like our mom.

We are too young to be neutered now, so we can be adopted and brought back to be vetted when we are old enough. There will be a deposit required, but it will be refunded when we are neutered. We would love to be adopted together! Please contact A Forever Home Animal Rescue for more information about us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magellan, a Clermont Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Clermont, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Clermont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clermont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clermont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clermont paves the way for another one to be saved.
