My story

Diesel is an extremely beautiful black boy around 2 years old and weighs approximately 70 lbs. Diesel is a young lab, appears to be purebred, who came from a high kill shelter where he found himself after being picked up as a stray. Everyone loves Diesel from the second they meet him. He is such a sweet and gentle boy who loves being around people. Diesel gets along great with other dogs and is a push-over with the kitties He loves to romp and play but settles down nicely when in the house and he takes those ‘good boy’ treats like a true gentleman. He loves it when he gets hugs and pats and told how good he is. Diesel does very well on the leash and would make the best walking or running partner ever. He would be considered a low/medium energy boy. Diesel has been well socialized with men, women and children and would be a great fit for just about any family. He would like nothing more than to have a home of his own and a family to love. Diesel is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. He has been kept on flea/tick preventive and heartworm preventative and is crate trained. He is a truly awesome boy and, if you think he might fit into your family’s life style, please indicate Diesel in the notes section of the online application
