Ed's Story...
Poor Ed has had a rough life so far. Ed was found as a stray with a broken jaw that had already healed crooked. We arent sure how he got it but our vet has recommended leaving it alone as he can eat and drink just fine. He LOVES kids and people! He's housebroken and crate-trained. He's such a fun loving dog and we want to find him the best home since he obviously didnt have it before. Ed would love to be your best friend! To apply please email info@forrescue.net!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ed, a Marietta Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
