Our orphans are delivered to the northeast every Saturday via USDA certified transport and come fully vetted with health certificates. Hi ! My name is Jackson. I am a sweet, happy, one year old black lab mix.My previous family surrendered me for financial reasons. I am in a foster home with several other dogs. I LOVE kids and will follow them everywhere they go. I have not been exposed to cats. I am an active boy that would love a nice fenced yard to play ball in and run around. I have had surgergy on my back leg a few months ago for a broken femur and am still rebuilding my muscles. Because I broke my leg while I was still growing.. my leg healed about an inch shorter than the other three. I function just fine but will always have a limp. I would do best in a home with no stairs but I can tollerate a few. I am a young boy that likes to GO all day if you will let me, but if I do too much... my leg will let me know. If you are looking for a jogging partner, Jackson is not for you... if you are looking for a perfect family pet or companion... then he is your guy! If you are interested in speaking to my foster mom about me or would like to apply to make yours furever... please let the rescue know.
