Audi in all honesty is an amazing little dog with a big heart. He loves to shower everyone with kisses! He is for sure a lap dog who loves to be cuddled. He is a calm, low energy dog but is still playful. He loves to hang out and catch a sunny spot in the yard. If he's not snuggling with you that is! Audi is an adult boy approximately 4 - 5 years old and weighs 15 lbs.
Here is what else his foster family had to say:
Audi has been awesome with my children even the 2 and 3 yr olds. He hasn't shown any aggression whatsoever. My 2 yr old can pick from his dish as he is eating. We don't have cats but I am sure there would be no problem. He does seem a bit shy around some dogs and with some men he is a little timid at first.
Audi is very quiet in the home. He doesn't seem to know any commands really. We tried sit, stay come, and he didn't really respond although he will dance for a treat. I'm sure if worked on he would learn as he is eager to please. For the most part he is so good that you don't really have to get after him for anything. He has good manners and is not big enough to counter surf, but we left food on the coffee table and he did help himself. He's not a bolter, but will escape is there is any areas unsecured in the yard.
Audi is 100% house trained. He wakes us up 6am with a bark to let us know and will go to the door when wanting out. He is crate trained and he sleeps in it and will go in and out all day long on his own, but it has to be in an area where everyone is, or he will bark. I think, having someone home most of the time would be ideal for Audi. Also, Audi would need someone that was willing to give him a daily brushing to keep him looking his best. He does shed.
Audi is such an amazing dog with the personality to match. There hasn't been a person that he has met that hasn't fallen in love with him instantly! In my opinion he would do well with anyone that is home most of the time, and although he would be fine in an apartment, a yard would be best since he loves to be outside! I cannot give this dog enough praises!
He will no doubt make his new family beyond happy!!
