PUPPY ERICK's Story...
My name is Erick. I am a 10 week old male puppy, whose mom is an Australian Cattle dog mix. I will probably be about 45 lbs as an adult, like my mom. My foster parents think I am very cute. My markings are very unique and quite symmetrical. I look like a mix of Rottweiler or Swiss Mountain dog with Blue Heeler spots on my stomach. I am very smart and playful. I do not mind scouting out on my own. When called, I will quickly go to my owner. I enjoy quiet time with my people and just laying on my back and being petted, but I also love to run and play with toys. I have a lot of energy. I am a well socialized puppy, and enjoy being loved on by everyone person I meet and I like to play with other dogs. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY ERICK, a Portland Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
