My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sheba's had a rough life. However, going by her calm, sweet and friendly demeanor you would never know. She had to be someone's pet at a time before somehow ending up lost on the streets of NY and then subsequently a high kill shelter. FOWA pulled her from the kill shelter along with her newborn in the Spring of 2013. To our amazement she was already pregnant with another litter and went into labor a short time later after being rescued. All of her newborns were adopted and Sheba is now patiently waiting for a place of her own to call her forever home. She is a very gentle presence in her foster home. She mainly keeps to herself but does hang out with the other cats and sometimes plays with them and also her toys once in awhile. She is nurturing to the young cats in the house and sleeps in bed with her foster family and is extremely gentle. She doesn't scratch you and even IF she wanted to bite (which she doesn't) she has no teeth so she can't hurt you. However, she still eats hard food like a champ! She is currently living with dogs, she is spayed, has had routine vet visits, she is up to date on shots, FeLV & FIV negative and now just needs to find her forever family that can give her the comfortable life she deserves.
