Axle's Story...
INITIAL BIO 06/09/2013: Hi! I'm Axle. It's a big name for a little tyke like me. See, I am only a little over 3 lbs. I am 2.5 years old. I was surrendered by my breeder and am being fostered in Largo, FL. I am done being a stud and from now on only want to be your little studmuffin. I am sweet and want to give kisses (but FM says not right now because I have a mouth full of toofers that need to be cleaned by the Dogtor). I need all my shots and a thing called a neuter. Do you know what that is? I sure don't. Hope it isn't anything bad.

Anyway, FM needs to do a little work with me on the housetraining dept. She says I should get better after the neuter thing.... so I guess neuter is good :) Well, look forward to a life of being your little snuggle buddy. xoxo - Axle

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Axle, a Ocala Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Ocala, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Ocala.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ocala already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ocala breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ocala paves the way for another one to be saved.
