Dreamer's Story...
Hi! My name is Dreamer. My foster mom says my name should be Dreamboat because I am so handsome and sweet. I guess that is why she is always hugging and kissing on me but I’m not complaining. I like being hugged and kissed and I do a mean dobie lean too! I am a pretty mellow guy especially for such a young dude. I am only 2 years old and am what they call a blue/rust dobe. I am around 29-30 inches at the shoulder and weigh about 85 lbs so I am a pretty big guy. I know basic commands and walk really well on a leash. I am house trained and crate trained although I may fuss a bit at first. I really prefer to not to be confined so a home where someone is home a lot would be really great. If you have a girlie dog for me to hang out with that would be really cool too! I am a real gentleman with the girls. My previous owner did weird things to my ears. I am sorry they don’t stand up right. I hope you don’t hold it against me. If you adopt me, I will love you and protect you by letting you know if anyone is hanging around our house. I love my foster family but I know there are other dobes in need of a foster home so if you would like to have a big, lovable guy like me around, give my foster mom a call or shoot her an email to arrange to meet me. You won’t be sorry, I promise!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dreamer, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
