WATCH MY VIDEO! Meet Betty! She is a 3 year old, female Dachshund mix. She is very tiny for a Dachshund so we think she may have a splash of Chihuahua mixed in. She is about 6 lbs and is full grown. Betty was rescued from the local animal shelter.
Other then being completely Adorable….Betty is sweet, friendly and affectionate. She bonds easily with her people and is very loyal. She likes to follow you around and will ask to be picked up and cuddled. She is a smart “with it” kinda gal, which makes her an easy enjoyable companion. She is well behaved and quiet in the house and content to lay close by while you are busy. She is also fun and up for any activity you have in mind. She is a “best friend” type of dog who really enjoys sharing time with her owner.
Betty gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, both big and small, and would be an wonderful companion to another canine. She is well behaved in the car and will most likely beg to go for car rides once she is certain that she will be returning home with her person rather then being dropped off at a shelter. She is doing good with house breaking and will also use a piddle pad if that is her only option. She is a quiet dog, not a barker.
